There are incorrectly named fields (I guess) in the “Printing progress” section. Total should be showing the total print time of the model. Left should display the time remaining. II feel like it shows the time allready taken by the print and the ttime remaining to the end. Please see attached screesnhots No.1 is the model detail with estimated time above 2 hours, No.2 shows current values (none of them is close to 2 hours).
V sekci “Průběh tisku” jsou chybně pojmenovaná pole. Total by měl zobrazovat celkový tiskový čas modelu. Left by měl zobrazovat zbývající. Místo toho mám pocit, že se zobrazuje dosavadní čas tisku a čas do konce. Nahlédněte, prosím, do přiložených obrázků č. 1 ukazuje detail modelu s odhadovanou dobou tisku delší než 2 h, č. 2 ukazuje aktuální hodnoty (žádná z nich se 2 hodinám neblíží).
Thank you for reaching out. We are aware of the issue with print progress time estimates. The problem with this lies in the fact that it’s quite difficult to estimate print progress across different printer manufacturers and “slicers”. We are also aware that on Prusa printers, the progress is shown correctly on the printer display. This is because the printer displays information stored in the Gcode file. In Karmen, we are attempting to display “calculated” information, and yes, we acknowledge that our time estimates are often completely incorrect.
The good news is that in a future release of Karmen, we will have a “Gcode analyzer” that can provide accurate information about print progress. For now, the most reliable information is the percentage progress, which indicates the current printer position in the Gcode file.

Moc děkujeme za zpětnou vazbu na nesprávné hodnoty s časem tisku. Je to něco o čem víme, že není dobře a plánujeme to v jedné z dalších verzí “vyřešit”. Již jsme se to snažili vyřešit několikrát, ale zjistili jsme, že řešení není jednoduché, jelikož co výrobce a slicer, tak správně odhadnout dobu tisku, není vůbec jednoduché. U Prusa tiskáren je to vyřešeno tak, že je doba tisku zapsáná slicerem přímo do Gcodu, resp. v Gcode je napsáno, co se má zobrazit na displeji - tohle bohužel v Karmen zatím neumíme, ale směřujeme k tomu.
